LEVEL 2 ‘Sailing…Fast!’
This course follows the Yachting NZ standard for Level 2 “Sailing… Fast!” In this course, returning sailors will further refine the skills they developed in Level 1. We’ll learn knots necessary for securing your boats, how to keep your boat balanced for the correct conditions, how to tack and gybe smoothly, and other intermediate skills. We’ll continue to explore the harbour, and learn about the tides and other forces which shape the wind and the waves. Upon completion of the course, the kids will receive YNZ Level 2 certificates which make them eligible to take the Level 3 course.

For the 2020 holiday programs and term sailing, the cost is $310.
10% off of the second booking for group bookings. This includes the second person in a family, or friends. 15% discount for TYPBC club members. Only one discount can apply at a time.
