LEVEL 1 ‘START…SAILING!’
This course follows the Yachting NZ standard for Level 1 “Start… Sailing!” New sailors will learn how to rig, launch, capsize and right, tack and gybe, and derig their boats in typical conditions. We also encourage having heaps of fun while we learn! We’ll navigate to different spots in Tauranga Harbour like Matakana Island, Kulim Park, and even Pilot Bay, to make for some really special sailing experiences. Upon completion of the course, the kids will receive YNZ Level 1 certificates which makes them eligible to take the Level 2 course.

For the 2020 holiday programs and term sailing, the cost is $330.
10% off of the second booking for group bookings. This includes the second person in a family, or friends. 15% discount for TYPBC club members. Only one discount can apply at a time.
